By F.G. Oosterhoff
This book consists of five lectures, each of which deals with different aspects of postmodernism. Beginning with the reasons why the movement arose, the book describes postmodern attitudes with respect to social justice, the environment, religion, and education. It also shows the use postmodern thinkers make of language and literature, and it deals at some length with the central element in postmodernism, which is the changing attitude toward knowledge and truth.
